If you’re concerned about or bothered by an aspect of your pet’s behaviour, we can help. Our veterinarians can work with you and your pet to stop or change the behaviour. During a behavioural assessment, our veterinarian will perform a physical exam as well discuss a day in the life of your pet.
Many aggressive, fearful, or inappropriate behaviours in dogs and cats can be modified through a combination of desensitization and counter-conditioning. These techniques can have dramatic results when applied properly. Many recommendations based on veterinarian’s experience and small changes in your pets life may create peace in the home, others may require medications. Other instances with our patients require outside referral to trained behaviourists.
Contact us for an appointment if you’d like to meet with our veterinarians to assess your pets behaviour.
